Job Description:

Provide a broad and varying range of confidential administrative support to leaders ranging from Directors to C-Suite Executives.

May assist with budget management, special projects, file maintenance and other responsibilities that contribute to efficient operation of the department and organization.

Independently complete and maintain projects and programs requiring a high degree of initiative.

Communicate and interact with senior-level personnel both inside and outside of the organization.

Assistants may work in a variety of settings. The positions range in scope and complexity from 1 – 4, 4 being high.


High School Diploma or GED.

4 to 8 years of experience with increased responsibility shown for senior level positions

Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:

Highly motivated and able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent desktop tool usage including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Ability and willingness to learn new software applications.

Excellent spelling, grammar, editing and organizational skills with an emphasis on prioritizing work and problem solving.

Ability to operate various office equipment.

Ability to deal with highly confidential material/information.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

Additional Comments/Requirements:

This role will be specific to case management of workers’ compensation claims and patients that are treating at TRIA Orthopaedic Center. Case management includes communicating with workers’ compensation insurance adjusters, employers, medical providers and patients. A large part of this role will include requesting prior authorization requests for procedures and care for work comp patients and working with other insurance payors to authorize payment for services. There will be provider communication within clinic to determine appropriate work restrictions and assisting with state regulations regarding injured workers.
