Implements the strategic direction for and provides operational and clinical oversight to Sterile Processing Department and VA process. Leads, manages, and evaluates all aspects of patient care, staff/leadership resources, productivity, and interdisciplinary collaboration for multiple areas of responsibility. This position ensures patient care outcomes and quality improvement activities are coordinated within the care delivery framework. In addition, identifies areas and ensures that practice is consistent with internal and external policies, regulatory agencies, best practice quality standards and Park Nicollet contracts. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or health related field. 3-4 years relevant clinical, management and/or progressive leadership experience. Sterile Processing Certificate desired Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: • Current Registered Nurse license in state of Minnesota, if applicable • Member of a professional organization either in nursing specialty or leadership • Expressed desire/passion to focus on nursing, leadership and management • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent listener • Team player • Successful progressive leadership skills • Excellent communication skills • Evidence for motivational leadership skills • Excellent talent assessment and mentoring skills
This role will support SPD at both the TRIA Bloomington and Woodbury sites.
