Job Description:

Supervises the daily operations of a single designated department or two similar designated departments assuring goals and objectives are obtained through the planning, implementing and directing of programs, procedures, systems and support personnel.

Education/Experience:

Education: Bachelors Degree preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:

Previous clinic experience as an Orthopedic Assistant, Athletic Trainer, Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN and will work within the scope of that job. CPR AND BLS required.

Proven leadership skills in organizing, planning and directing an operation and its staff.

The ability to exercise good judgment and problem solving skills.

Role model with strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task and to make quick decisions in a fast paced environment.

Strong patient advocacy skills and superior customer service skills. Ongoing mentorship to team members. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and insure safety of patients 

Additional Comments/Requirements:

This working supervisor position will report to the TRIA Woodbury Clinic Manager while also working closely with the Sports Medicine Program Manager and Sports Medicine Program Supervisors. Working closely with the Sports Medicine Program Supervisors, will help to ensure that goals and objectives of the sports medicine program are obtained through collaboration on the development and implementation of programs, procedures, and support personnel. This includes, but is not limited to, direct patient care, professional growth and development, outcome/competency assessment, compliance with regulatory standards, participating in process improvements, and use of TRIA Sports Medicine Program software and tools. Considered an “expert” within the specialty area. Exercises imagination and creative abilities to respond to situations. Identifies unique or complex problem areas and develops recommendations. Contributes to the development of policies and procedures. Assists in the planning, development, and implementation of new or modified processes. Requires strong communication, collaboration, team work, and a high degree of initiative.
