TRIA physician, Jonathan Braman, MD, was chosen by the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) to take part in the 2017 American-British-Canadian (ABC) Traveling Fellowship.
Dr. Braman is one of seven physicians across North America selected. “I’m flattered I was chosen for this prestigious fellowship,” said Dr. Braman. “This is something I’ve always wanted to do.”
The ABC Traveling Fellowship takes place over five weeks, with travel to two continents and throughout several countries including: Scotland, England, and South Africa.
Dr. Braman and his colleagues will visit a number of orthopedic centers, present lectures on their research, attend lectures, and complete operating room and clinical observances. A large portion of the program is around socialization and mentorships to build both personal and working relationships with one another.
“This is a tremendous honor individually for Jonathan Braman, but also for the University of Minnesota’s Department of Orthopaedics and TRIA,” said Edward Craig, MD, MPH, TRIA CEO. “Being selected is a sign the research, quality of clinical work and leadership at our faculty at TRIA is recognized.”
“I’m lucky to be surrounded by great people who support my research and clinical work,” adds Dr. Braman.
