The conference will focus on injuries and popular medical issues encountered by aging athletes. This conference is for physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other allied health professionals.

Accreditation Statement

This activity is planned and implemented by the University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education and TRIA Orthopaedic Center. University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

American Medical Association (AMA) Credit Designation Statement

The University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education is pending approval of this live activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Certified Athletic Trainers

University of Minnesota – CME (BOC AP# P651) is pending approval by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for EBP Category hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.

Other Healthcare Professionals

Nurses and other healthcare professionals who participate in this CE activity may submit their Statements of Participation to their appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards for consideration of credit. The participant is responsible for determining whether this activity meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education. In order to receive credit, participants must attend at least one full session and submit a participant tracking sheet and evaluation form before leaving. Participants can only claim the hours they were actually in attendance for CME credit. Statements of Participation will be emailed within 6-8 weeks following the program.

What is the cost?

Pricing for the conference is dependent upon your credentials, the days you choose to attend, and when you register.

MD/DO/DC:

  • Friday – $425 ($350)
  • Saturday – $250 ($175)
  • Both days – $500 ($425)

PT/ATC/RN/PA/OA/Fellow/Resident/Other:

  • Friday – $350 ($275)
  • Saturday – $225 ($150)
  • Both days – $400 ($325)

How do I register?

What happens if I forget my log-in information?

What is your refund policy?

Full refunds will be issued for all cancellations received 14 days prior to the scheduled event. Half of the registration fee will be refunded for all cancellations received 7 to 13 days prior to the scheduled event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within 6 days of the course. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery of credit card refunds and 90 days for delivery of check refunds. Our preferred method of delivering refunds is by credit card.

The fee for an exhibit table in the designated display area at the Hilton Hotel details are below. This area will be open to attendees on February 3rd beginning at 6:00am. There will also be a reception immediately following the course on Friday evening. A signed Exhibitor Agreement will be required from all companies who arrange for a display table. In accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), there must be a separation of education and promotion within any educational activity that bears AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Also, exhibits must not interfere – or in any way compete with – the learning experience. For those portions of the course eligible for CME credit, the faculty will be in the role of leading the class presentations with an emphasis on medical procedures, approaches, and techniques.

Educational Grants

The ACCME guidelines and Standards for Commercial Support will be applied to all matters related to the course design, development, and delivery. A signed Letter of Agreement (LOA) is required for all companies who elect to provide an educational grant to the course. The LOA spells out the necessary requirements for purposes of accreditation.
