Joseph Johnson, MD

Pain Medicine Specialist

Bloomington

I chose to specialize in pain medicine because it gives me the opportunity to alleviate pain and improve one’s quality of life. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach emphasizing physical therapy, activity levels, rehabilitation, behavioral health, and alternative therapies. I treat both acute and chronic pain conditions with medication and interventional procedures. I perform minimally invasive spinal injections, joint injections, peripheral nerve injections, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulation. I aim to find a sustainable treatment plans that are safe, effective, and evidence based.
