Marc Swiontkowski, MD

Orthopedic Surgery/Fracture Specialist

Bloomington

As an orthopedic surgeon, my goal is to return my patients to a high level activity as soon as possible and only recommending surgery when it is the clear best option. I take pride in listening to my patients to understand their individual needs. I have a special interest in factures, nonunions, malunions infections and osteoporosis. In addition to my role at TRIA, I am the Editor & Chief of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and and active National Institutes of Health sponsored researcher in fracture care. Outside of work I am President of the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, and on the boards of Haiti Teen Challenge, Wayzata Free Church and Help for the Hurting Home.
