The Athletic Training Room at TRIA offers orthopedic evaluation and screening for the active population. Patients may be seen for injuries obtained as a result of their participation in sports or activities who do not have access to an Athletic Trainer. TRIA Athletic Trainers will perform an evaluation, assess the injury and coordinate a care plan including patient education along with home exercises and treatment protocols. Patients that require additional care will be referred to the appropriate physician or physical therapist.
A Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) is a health care professional who collaborates with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. TRIA Athletic Trainers are BOC certified and registered with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Click here for more information about Athletic Training.
