A chronic medical condition can be difficult to define, but in general it is a disease or condition lasting over three months. The Orthopedic Urgent Care is willing to see acute exacerbation of chronic illnesses.

  • An example of an acute exacerbation of a chronic illness is a flare-up of a chronic conditions such as arthritis that needs immediate attention, such as a cortisone shot.
