Musculoskeletal ultrasound

TRIA offers a diverse musculoskeletal ultrasound practice.  This includes a full complement of diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the extremities ranging from shoulder ultrasound to assess for rotator cuff tears, to dynamic ultrasound of the elbow, wrist, and ankle to look for ligament instability and tendon injury or dislocation.

At TRIA, ultrasound guidance is utilized for safe and efficacious injection of tendon sheaths, and aspiration of cysts and bursal fluid collections. Ultrasound is also used to guide PRP (platelet rich plasma) and ABI (autologous blood injections) injections into tendons for treatment of refractory tendon pain.
