Physicians who have completed their residency programs can choose to pursue fellowship opportunities for additional specialized training. TRIA currently supports the education for following fellowship programs:


After completing medical school, doctors may choose to complete 3-5 years of residency depending upon their chosen specialty. TRIA currently supports the education for following residency programs:

Medical Students

As a clinical rotation site for the University of Minnesota Medical School, medical students in their third and fourth years rotate at TRIA for two to four weeks. TRIA primarily supports the education of the University of Minnesota Medical School.


In addition to supporting the education of fellows, residents, and medical students, TRIA also supports the education of students who are enrolled in the following programs at various schools:

    • Athletic Trainers (ATC)
    • Physician Assistant (PA)
    • Medical Assistant (MA)
    • Radiology Technology
    • Surgical Technology
    • Physical Therapy (PT)
    • Occupational Therapy (OT)
    • Nursing (RN)
    • College student (for credit)
