Surgical Timing and Rehabilitation for Multiple Ligmant Knee Injuries
Multiple ligament knee injuries represent a spectrum of injury from disruption of at least two ligaments, to disruption of all four major knee ligaments: the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), the medial collateral ligament (MCL) and the lateral collateral ligament (LCL).
The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of timing of surgery (early vs. delayed) and timing of post-operative rehabilitation (early vs. delayed) for the treatment of military personnel and civilians that sustain a multiple ligament knee injury.
