I am a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. My special interest are the knee and shoulder which include: shoulder instabilities, shoulder surgery, arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, ACL injuries, meniscal and articular cartilage injuries. In my role at TRIA, I also serve as the Medical Director of the TRIA Research & Education Institute. My research interests include articular cartilage injury, knee ligament injury, shoulder instability and adolescent sports medicine injuries. I have a passion for sports, especially hockey, and I am excited to bring that into my practice as the Medical Director of University of Minnesota Athletics and the Team Physician for the Minnesota Wild.
