Veronica Barnes, MOT, OTR/L
We use our hands to engage in the world; to work, to play, to console, and to care for oneself and others. When a person experiences an upper extremity injury or diagnosis, it can interfere with participation in many daily activities. It is through the “art and science” of hand therapy, that I’m equipped to guide my patients through their recovery journey using compassion, collaboration, education, and commitment to action. Together, we will work to achieve your therapy goals. I have a passion for treating upper extremity diagnoses using a combination of custom splinting, manual therapy, activity modification and exercise. I’m committed to continuous learning, active listening, and evidence-based practice, in order to improve my patient outcomes.
