Hand Therapy

Hand therapists at TRIA treat a wide range of injuries and disabilities of the hand and arm including:

  • Fractures and dislocation
  • Arthritis
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome and other nerve compressions
  • Lacerations
  • Crush injuries
  • Tendon or nerve injuries and repairs
  • Sport injuries or repetitive stress injuries
  • Myofascial pain
  • Deformities of the hand, wrist or elbow

Working closely with hand surgeons and other orthopedic specialists, our hand therapists assess the patient’s abilities and design an individualized treatment program that leads to restoration of optimal function. We also use specific protocol guidelines for many diagnoses to ensure best outcomes and continuity of care. Our outcomes meet or exceed nationally recognized standards for many diagnoses treated. Hand therapists at TRIA provide acute care for urgent needs, treatment for chronic problems, and post-operative management and therapy for all ages.
